Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it....

Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.
Charles R. Swindoll

The learner always begins by finding fault.

The learner always begins by finding fault, but the scholar sees the

 positive merit in everything.

A person must be big enough to admit his mistakes...............

A person  must be big enough to admit his mistakes, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them.

Be a blessing. Be a friend. encourage someone.......

Today will never come again. Be a blessing. Be a friend. encourage someone. Take time to care. Let your words heal and not wound.

In the End, it is not the Years in your Life that count.  It is the Life in your Years.

Always pray to have eyes that see the best in people, a heart that

forgives  the worst, a mind that forgets the bad, and a soul that never

loses faith in God.

confidence may not bring success but gives us power to face any challenges.

NIce definition for Time.

Time is Slow, when you wait!

"ORDER WHAT YOU CAN CONSUME, MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY.

"ORDER WHAT YOU CAN CONSUME, MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY.

Germany is a highly industrialized country. In such a country, many will think its people lead a luxurious life.
When we arrived at Hamburg , my colleagues walked into the restaurant, we noticed that a lot of tables were empty. There was a table where a young couple was having their meal. There were only two dishes and two cans of beer on the table. I wondered if such simple meal could be romantic, and whether the girl will leave this stingy guy.
There were a few old ladies on another table. When a dish is served, the waiter would distribute the food for them, and they would finish every bit of the food on their plates.
As we were hungry, our local colleague ordered more food for us.When we left, there was still about one third of un-consumed food on the table.
When we were leaving the restaurant, the old ladies spoke to us in English, we understood that they were unhappy about us wasting so much food.
"We paid for our food, it is none of your business how much food we left behind," my colleague told the old ladies. The old ladies were furious. One of them immediately took her hand phone out and made a call to someone. After a while, a man in uniform from Social Security organisation arrived. Upon knowing what the dispute was, he issued us a 50 Euro fine. We all kept quiet.
The officer told us in a stern voice

, "ORDER WHAT YOU CAN CONSUME, MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY. THERE ARE MANY OTHERS IN THE WORLD WHO ARE FACING SHORTAGE OF RESOURCES. YOU HAVE NO REASON TO WASTE RESOURCES."

The mindset of people of this rich country put all of us to shame.

WE REALLY NEED TO REFLECT ON THIS.

We are from country which is not very rich in resources. To save face, we order large quantity and also waste food when we give others a treat.

THE LESSON IS:- THINK SERIOUSLY ABOUT CHANGING OUR BAD HABITS. Expecting

VERY TRUE -"MONEY IS YOURS BUT RESOURCES BELONG TO THE SOCIETY."

Lesson for every son and hope for every father

Lesson for every son and hope for every father

A son took his old father to a restaurant for an evening dinner.
Father being very old and weak, while eating, dropped food on his shirt and trousers.
Others diners watched him in disgust while his son was calm.
After he finished eating, his son who was not at all embarrassed, quietly took him to the wash room, wiped the food particles, removed the stains, combed his hair and fitted his spectacles firmly.
When they came out, the entire restaurant was watching them in dead silence, not able to grasp how someone could embarrass themselves publicly like that.
The son settled the bill and started walking out with his father.
At that time, an old man amongst the diners
called out to the son and asked him, "Don't you think you have left something behind?".
The son replied, "No sir, I haven't".
The old man retorted, "Yes, you have! You left a lesson for every son and hope for every father".
The restaurant went silent.

Life is simple indeed.. But We make it complex by running after what NEVER gives us joy......

"If you want to Walk Fast, Walk Alone.

But

If u want to Walk Far, Walk Together."

-an African proverb

How strange it is
We wish to wear high brands
but we feel most comfortable in payjamas pants.
We wish to sit in Taj & Marriot with elite people
but we enjoy roadside tea with friends and with people we love..the most.

We wish to own big cars and go on long drives,
yet we talk our heart out only while walking down a long road.

We have 64 GB i Pods filled with songs
but sometimes a song on the radio brings a
smile that can't be compared.

Life is simple indeed
But We make it complex by running after what
NEVER gives us joy.....
life tries to troll us everyday and teach us more.

TOUGH TIMES DON'T LAST , BUT TOUGH PEOPLE DO.

TOUGH TIMES DON'T LAST ,
BUT TOUGH PEOPLE DO.

Author Unknown:

I hired a service engineer to help me in repairs at an old farmhouse. He already had a rough and tiresome day.
* a flat tire
* his electric drill fault
* his old car break down.
* his tiffin was spoilt
* he lost his wallet
* his bank was calling for loan repayments

In all the tension and stress he finished my repairs.

Since his car broke down, I drove him home. While I drove him home, he sat silently, but I can mark his agony and restlessness.

On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door, he paused at a small tree, touching the tips of the branches with both hands and closed his eyes.

When the door opened, he was smiling and happy. In seconds he underwent an amazing transformation.

He hugged his two small children, gave his wife a kiss, laughed, and never even slightly make them feel the troubles that he had encountered that day.

I was astonished, aback and curious. Seeing my inquisitive eyes he told “Oh, that's my Trouble Tree. My best friend. My trouble carrier for the night”. He replied. “I know I can't help having
troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure, those troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and the children. So I just hang them up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take care of them. Then in the morning I pick them up again.” He smiled and shared secret that “when I come out in the morning to pick 'em up, there aren't nearly as many as I remember hanging there the night before !!”

Life may be a burden of worries, but there is a way to keep our loved ones untouched from these worries.

Time will heal every wound.

Spreading Smile n happiness to our loved ones also in turn relieves us of stress.

TOUGH TIMES DON'T LAST ,
BUT TOUGH PEOPLE DO.

How sweet is this little boy!!!!!.....

How sweet is this little boy trying to help the last rabbit up onto the ledge! Precious!

Children are the epitome of innocence, they are the epitome of purity, they are the epitome of love, they are the epitome of hope and gladness in this difficult and troubled world.

Why do we have to think about the past .......

Why do we have to think about the past when we have the beautiful present before us ? Let us live fully in the present moment.

When you live in the past or in the future,  you will not able to make things happen in the present.

The past is dead and gone.

It is now history.

The future is uncertain since you do not know what it holds for you.

The present is before you and you are aware of it.

So, utilise the situation or circumstances of the present.

With the available opportunities, garner your unlimited potential to make rapid strides in your path towards success.

And Succeed you will regardless of the hurdles or obstacles in the way !!!!

I NEVER KNEW THIS ABOUT JAPAN ... ??

I NEVER KNEW THIS ABOUT JAPAN ... ??

Some very good and interesting points.. Read it till the end.

1 - Did you know that Japanese children clean their schools every day for a quarter of an hour with teachers which has led to the emergence of a Japanese generation who is modest and keen on cleanliness.

2 - Did you know that any Japanese citizen who has a dog must carry a special bags to pick up dog droppings.  Hygiene and their eagerness to address cleanliness is part of Japanese ethics.

3 - Did you know that hygiene worker in Japan is called "health engineer" and can command salary of USD 5000 to 8000 per month, and a cleaner is subjected to written and oral tests!!

4 - Did you know that Japan does not have any natural resources, and they are exposed to hundreds of earthquakes a year, but it did not prevent her from becoming the fourth largest economy in the world.

5 - Did you know that Hiroshima returned to what it was, economically vibrant before the fall of the atomic bomb in just ten years.

6 - Did you know that Japan prevents the use of mobiles in trains and restaurants.

7 - Did you know that in Japan , students from the first to sixth primary years must learn ethics in dealing with people.

8 - Did you know that the Japanese, even though they are one of the richest people in the world, do not have servants and the parents are responsible for the house and children.

9 - Did you know that there is no examination from the first to the third primary level; because the goal of education is to instill concepts and character building, not just examination and indoctrination. -

10 - Did you know that if you go to a buffet restaurant in Japan you will notice people only eat as much as they need without any waste.  No wasteful food.

11 - Did you know that the rate of delayed trains in Japan is about 7 seconds per year!!
They appreciate the value of time, very punctual to minutes and seconds

12 -. Did you know that children brush their teeth after a meal at school; They maintain their health from an early age.

13 - Did you know that students take half an hour to finish their meals to ensure right digestion. When asked about this concern, they said: These students are the future of Japan
